A psychic has won the lottery! Finally! You'd think that all lottery winners would be psychics... you know, because they can see the future. Actually, that's just some sarcasm. I think psychics are quacks. But with so many people claiming to be psychics, one of them is bound to win the lottery eventually.Carole Dakin is a psychic and a tarot card reader. And, she won the lottery! Carole won £772,906 ($1,233,950 USD) in March of 2007. She actually dreamed that she won the lottery a few nights prior to the draw. She bought a ticket but then stashed it away because she got sick. She totally forgot about it until she read in the newspaper that there was an unclaimed ticket in Stockton (She lives in Stockton, England). She recognized the numbers and then had to find the ticket. She didn't remember where she had put it and ended up ransacking her house trying to find it. It was found under her bed.
When she won, Carole Dakin said that she didn't plan to live extravagantly. She didn't want to be flashy as that was not her type of personality. She did, however, buy a new Peugeot and wanted to buy a bigger house so that her two children can each have a room of their own. One thing that Carole always loved to do, though, was buy stuff on eBay. She now plans to spend a lot more time on the website.
